September 18, 2015 - Public Works Department (PWD) or Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Perak handed over the Cempaka Sari royal barge to Kumpulan Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak (PKNP). The event took place at the Dataran Sayong Resort, Kuala Kangsar.

Director of JKR Perak, Toh Paduka Setia Dato’ Ir. Dr. Safry Kamal Ahmad, hoped that the vessel would be the latest attraction in the Royal Town, especially among tourists and guests at the Lanai Casuarina rest house, owned by PKNP Group.

The event was also attended by Deputy Chief Executive (Corporate Service) PKNP, Tuan Sayed Shariffuddin Bin Sayed Shamsuddin.
