25 Sep 2025

PENGKALAN HULU, 25th SEPTEMBER 2025 - Perak’s vision to become a progressive, well-planned, and sustainable state achieved another significant milestone today as the Pengkalan Hulu District Council (MDPH) officially entered into a strategic partnership with Koridor Utiliti Darul Ridzuan (KUDR) – a flagship initiative of the Perak State Government driving digital transformation in utility management through the KUDRAT smart system.

This collaboration marks an important step in strengthening governance, improving efficiency, and ensuring integrated delivery of utility services within the district, in line with Agenda 9: Empowering Local Authorities (PBT) under the Perak Sejahtera 2030 development framework.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was witnessed by YB Sandrea Ng Shy Ching, Perak State Executive Councillor for Housing and Local Government, at the MDPH Conference Hall in Pengkalan Hulu.

In her remarks, YB Sandrea highlighted that the partnership would enhance coordination in ensuring safety and efficiency across development projects, thereby boosting public confidence in the state government’s planning and capabilities.

She further announced that beginning 1 October 2025, all agencies and stakeholders involved in development projects under MDPH’s jurisdiction will be required to adopt the KUDR platform for all utility-related processes.
