CSR Programme : PKNP FC Football Coaching Clinic in Taiping

November 22, 2016 - PKNP FC football coaching clinic, a corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme organized by Kumpulan Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak (PKNP Group) held a session  in Padang Esplande, Taiping. It was one of the corporate efforts in branding PKNP FC football. The coaching clinic was coordinated in conjunction with Perak Chief Minister’s ‘Pemukiman’ Programme which took place from 22nd to 26th November 2016 in Taiping.

A total of 160 students below 12 years old from 24 schools around Taiping participated in the programme. During the coaching session, the young talents were exposed and learned about football skills e.g. passing, defending, dribbling, ball control and others physical training session under the guidance and supervision of coaches and players of PKNP FC. Meanwhile, a mini tournament was also held after the training sessions which allowed the young footballers to put their newly learned skills to practise.

The closing ceremony was officiated by YB Dato’ Hj Mohammad Zahir Bin Abdul Khalid, Chairman of the Perak State Committee on Industry, Investment and Development Corridor Perak. At the ceremony, Dato' Zahir handed over RM6,880 donation to Taiping Municipal Council’s Football Academy as well as the presentation of certificates to the participating schools.

Also present were Dato' Kamaruddin Bin Awang, Larut, Matang and Selama District Officer, Tuan Sayed Shariffuddin Bin Sayed Shamshuddin, Deputy Executive Director (Corporate Services) PKNP, Tuan Hj Yusoff Bin Caroshau Chairman of the Football Academy Larut, Matang and Selama, and, Encik Kamaruzzaman Bin Kamari, Engineering Director, Taiping Municipal Council.
