October 9, 2016 – PKNP FC beat FELCRA FC with an aggregate 3 – 2 at the Stadium Arena, University of Malaya in second FAM Cup semifinal leg. Trailing 0-1 at half-time, PKNP FC players showed good fighting spirit and won the match and qualified for the Cup final FAM. The PKNP FC goals were scored by Hamizul Izadi and G.Mugenthiran. PKNP FC Football will be met MISC-MIFA FC in the final.

Based on the format of the tournament for the FAM CUP league, two teams that reached the final of the FAM Cup, will automatically qualify for the Premier League 2017. For the first time, PKNP FC will enter into the Premiership next year.
