CSR Program: PKNP FC Coaching Clinic in Kuala Kangsar

16 May 2017, Kuala Kangsar. The effect to identify new talents in football is aggressively undertaken by Kumpulan PKNP through the PKNP FC in order to spear the development of sports in the state of Perak. During the YAB Chief Minister’s Permukiman Programme in Kuala Kangsar, PKNP FC football session was held at SMK Clifford in Kuala Kangsar.

A total of 172 students below 17 years old from 19 secondary and primary schools around the Kuala Kangsar District took part in the 5th coaching clinic.  The target participants of the clinic were students below the age of 17 from 8 primary schools and 11 secondary schools.

Starting as early as 8.00 am, this coaching clinic exposes the young talents with the opportunity to learn about football skills and other physical training session under the guidance and supervision of coaches and players of PKNP FC. During the coaching sessions, they were also taught to improve their discipline, cooperation and teamwork among them. This clinic was led by PKNP FC Youth Coach, Raja Azhar Bin Raja Ayob and assisted by Zailani Jalil with 20 PKNP FC’s youth players.

The closing ceremony of the PKNP FC football coaching clinic, was officiated by Perak State Committee Chairman for Industries, Investment and Corridor Development YB Dato’ Mohammad Zahir Bin Abdul Khalid. At the ceremony Dato' Zahir handed over a token of appreciation to SMK Cliffford for their cooperation throughout the event as well as the presentation of certificates to the participating schools.

Also present were Tuan Sayed Shariffuddin Bin Sayed Shamshuddin, Deputy Chief Executive (Corporate Services) PKNP Group, Encik Rustam Apandi Bin Jamaludin, Deputy Chief Executive (Business Operations) PKNP Group, Kuala Kangsar District Education Officer, Encik Azman Bin Rasid and Tuan Haji Salim Bin Suhaimi, Headmaster of SMK Clifford, Kuala Kangsar.
