SUNGAI SIPUT, 28th November 2021- The Perak State Malaysia Greening Program was held at the Sungai Siput (U) Forestry Training Complex. Menteri Besar of Perak YAB Dato' Seri Saarani Bin Mohamad, together with heads of departments and media practitioners, attended this program.

YAB Menteri Besar of Perak planted the two millionth tree, a continuity of the Perak Green Earth Program, launched in 2020. An initiative from Perak State Forestry Department is to realize the government's commitment to maintaining at least 50% of forested and tree- covered areas.

PKNPk presented by Encik Mohd. Azian Bin Abdul Hamid, Director of Land and Property Affairs, planted Keruing Padi (Dipterocarpus semivestitus) species.

The program ended at noon.
