IPOH, 22nd April 2022 - On 22 April 2022, a press conference was jointly held by Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak (PKNPk), Perak Investment Management Centre (InvestPerak) and Majuperak Holdings Berhad (Majuperak) with the assistance of Rahim & Co. International Sdn Bhd (Rahim & Co.) at Sofitel Kuala Lumpur.

The objective of the press conference was as a strategic approach to publicizing viable opportunities to drive investments into the State of Perak by emphasizing the benefits and significance of investing in Perak, particularly in the industrial sector.

The primary focus was on the three parcels of industrial land in Kanthan, Ipoh, measuring approximately 470 acres that have the right potential to be developed into a high-end, modern industrial park called Silver Valley Technology Park (SVTP) 2 in Khantan, Ipoh.

Rahim & Co. has been appointed as Majuperak’s Consultant and Transaction Manager to roll out a `Request For Proposal’ (RFP) exercise to manage this process and assist in identifying and negotiating with potential partners that the Majuperak can work together with to develop these parcels of land.

As a subsidiary of PKNPk, Majuperak shares its aspiration of transforming Perak into a high-income state and will continue to increase its efforts to explore feasible business prospects to contribute to Perak's long-term socio-economic growth.

Speakers at the press conference were the Chief Executive of PKNPk, Datuk Redza Rafiq bin Abdul Razak, the CEO of InvestPerak, Encik Izran bin Abdullah, the Group CEO of Majuperak, Encik Nizran bin Noordin, the Executive Chairman of Rahim & Co., YBhg Tan Sri Dato’ (Dr) Abdul Rahim Abdul Rahman, and the CEO of Rahim & Co. Estate Agency, Mr. Siva Shanker.
