PUTRAJAYA, 12th–14th August 2022 - PKNPk is involved in the Perak Mineral Industry Direction workshop program organized by Pejabat Tanah dan Galian Perak (PTG) Director's office at Hotel Zenith Putrajaya. The 3-days workshop aims to discuss the direction of Perak Darul Ridzuan in minerals through the best mining practices on ensuring a balance between economic wealth, social well-being, and environmental preservation towards sustainable development.

YBhg. Datuk Redza Rafiq Bin Abdul Razak, Chief Executive of PKNPk, also presented to the participants about the role of PKNPk as a leader in preparing intermediate and downstream sector development for the Perak State Mineral Industry.

The workshop presentation involves Dato' Mohamad Fariz Bin Mohamad Hanip, Director of PTG, Puan Nadratun Naim Binti Mohd Saidi Perak State Legal Officer, and Tuan Haji Mubarak Ali Bin Ghulam Rasul, Chief Executive Officer, Lumut Maritime Terminal (LMT). In addition, other representatives from Government Departments and Agencies also presented their working papers involving the Perak State National Audit Department, Perak State Minerals and Geosciences Department, Perak State Department of Environment, Perak Menteri Besar Corporation (MB Inc.), Perak Investment Management Centre (Invest Perak), the Forestry Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM), the National University of Malaysia (UKM) and the Malaysian Mining Council.
