KUALA LUMPUR, 13th October 2022 - The Perak State Government via the Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak (PKNPk) participated in the International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia (IGEM) 2022, from 12th to 14th October 2022 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

The Ministry of Environment and Water (KASA) and the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC) collaborated to execute this event for the green economy development by showcasing the latest green technology, encouraging the regional exchange of knowledge, ideas and innovations.

Parallel with the Pelan Perak Lestari 2030, as a secretariat, PKNPk roles are to boost green technology initiatives in realizing the state government's aim and national aspiration on sustainability in the Twelfth Malaysia Plan (RMK).

Participation in the State booth involved Majuperak Holdings Berhad and PKNPk's joint venture company- Kangsar Hidro Sdn Bhd. Both companies promote the Solar PV System- NEM system method project and the Hydro 2 project.

The exhibition involved over 300 exhibitors, 30,000 visitors, and RM3 billion in investment prospects.
