IPOH, 1st December 2022 - State-wide CLQ project hoped to reach the capacity of 12,000-strong in five years to support Perak’s growing industrialization Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak (PKNPk) has initiated its pilot project for Centralised Labour Quarters to accelerate the growth rate of the state’s industrialization and economic development.

The Perak state government is committed to support the rapid growth rate of industrial development in Perak. Smart cooperation between the government and the private sector in principle 2 of PS2030 gives advantages in knowledge, skills and financial resources on making the planned development initiatives and projects a success.

PKNPk makes Asrama Murni @ Jelapang a benchmark model for developing CLQ projects in other potential areas in the State of Perak, especially around large-scale industrial regions with a high number of foreign workers such as Kerian Industrial Estate Area, Kamunting Industrial Park, Silver Valley Technology Park (SVTP), Kinta District Industrial Area, Tanjung Malim, Bemban Industrial Park, LMT 2 in Manjung and Seri Iskandar districts.
