IPOH, 26th January 2023 – Perak State Secretary organized an Executive Talk and 2023 New Year Message at Casuarina @ Meru Hotel recently.

The Menteri Besar of Perak, Dato' Seri Saarani bin Mohamad, delivered his speech in the presence of 1,500 state officials.

He highlighted five key areas to make the state's development agenda a success, namely:

. Increasing the state's revenue and economic competitiveness 

. Strengthening synergy in the delivery system 

. Strengthening people's self-reliance and capacity

. Engaging initiatives and digital infrastructure

. Maintaining environmental sustainability 

Lumut Maritime Industrial City (LUMIC) and Silver Valley Technology Park (SVTP) are two projects under the PKNPk that Dato' Seri Saarani cited as key government investment initiatives for this year. They will boost economic growth and the development of new industries, and provide highly skilled job opportunities for the population.

YBhg. Datuk Redza Rafiq bin Abdul Razak, Chief Executive of Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak (PKNPk), and PKNPk management were also present at the event.
