IPOH, 15th February 2023 – The PKNPk Group met with the Malaysia-China Digital Corporation Council and several Chinese businesses at the Hotel Casuarina @ Meru. The PKNPk Group is actively pursuing the collaboration and hopes to attract new investment to the state of Perak. It highlighted the International Digital Economy Zone and Silver Valley Technological Park (SVTP) in the meeting.

PKNPk Group Chief Executive Datuk Redza Rafiq steered the discussion. Meanwhile, Syed Agil Bin Syed Hashim, Chief Executive Officer of Majuperak Holdings Berhad (MHB) Group, presented the SVTP 2 development plan.

The delegation visited SVTP, some adjacent PKNPk properties, and a new site proposal for the Ipoh Cargo Terminal.

Also present during the visit were Dato' Wei Chuan Beng as Co-Chairman of the Malaysia-China Digital Corporation Council, Mr. Thomas Cheah - Digital Way Group Commercial Manager, Mr. Kwan Boon Dat - Chief Executive Officer of Wei Dat Steel Wire Sdn Bhd., Dr. Yan Li Jin, Chairman - of Silk Road Group, Mr. Tang Yang Vice - President of Silk Road Group, Mr. Joseph Tan Huang Kew - Managing Director of Chek Hup Group. While for the management representative of the PKNPk Group, Syed Omar Albar bin Syed Abdullah - Deputy Chief Executive (Planning & Development) PKNPk, Meor Ahmad Saifuddin bin Mohd Nordin - PKNPk Senior Technical Officer, and several other representatives from the PKNPk group.
