KUALA LUMPUR, 11th September 2023 – In alignment with the Perak Sejahtera 2030 Agenda, Majuperak Holdings Berhad (MHB), a subsidiary of Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak (PKNPk), has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SPIC Energy Malaysia Berhad (SPIC Energy), a subsidiary of State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC), one of China's top five electricity generation companies. This landmark collaboration falls under the 12th Flagship of Perak Sejahtera, emphasizing the Green Technology Agenda and signifies a significant stride towards the potential realization of state-of-the-art renewable energy projects in Perak.

Datuk Redza Rafiq Abdul Razak, the Executive Chairman of Majuperak Holdings Berhad, emphasized the importance of high-impact projects that bring sustainable environmental benefits while aligning with long-term energy goals. He also stressed that such projects have the potential to drive technological innovation and generate numerous employment and business opportunities, particularly in the state of Perak.
