CHINA, 15th October 2023 – Taking a bold step to boost the technology sector in the state of Perak, Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak (PKNPk) today announced a momentous milestone in its pursuit of empowering innovation and economic growth. PKNPk inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with leading China-based company Shanghai TusStar Business Incubator Co. Ltd (TusStar) to collaboratively work towards establishing Perak as an ideal destination of choice for innovative entrepreneurs with strong growth potential.

TusStar brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in supporting start-ups and fostering a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. Through this strategic alliance, PKNPk aims to leverage on TusStar's global network, resources, and best practises to further enhance Perak’s entrepreneurial landscape, in line with the state’s Perak Sejahtera 2030 initiative.

The MoU was officially signed in Shanghai, China by Datuk Redza Rafiq Abdul Razak, Chief Executive of PKNPk and Wang Lei, TusStar Shanghai Executive Vice President. Witnessed by Chief Minister of Perak and Chairman of PKNPk, YAB Dato’ Seri Saarani bin Mohamad and Wang Wei, TusStar Shanghai General Manager, it reflects PKNPk’s growth commitment in the digitalisation, technology and renewable energy sectors and to spur foreign interest for Perak to emerge as a preferred technology hub.
