IPOH, 17th November 2023 – The promotion of traditional Perak food at Hotel Casuarina@Meru is an initiative aligned with the Year of Visiting Perak 2024. The ceremony, officiated by YAB Menteri Besar of Perak, Dato' Seri Saarani Bin Mohamad, on November 17, 2023, aims to showcase Perak's culinary and cultural richness, enticing tourists to explore the region.

An enticing feature of the Perak culinary experience is the "Set Talam," a delightful assortment of various traditional Perak dishes elegantly served on a talam. The primary objective of this promotion is to offer an immersive experience and an opportunity to savour the distinctive flavours of traditional and fusion cuisine, ultimately positioning Perak as a prominent food tourism destination in Malaysia.
