IPOH, 29th MAY 2024 – Majlis Akad Penyerahan Sumbangan Lembu Korban from Perak State Government-related companies (GLC) to the Perak State Government was held in conjunction with the arrival of Aidiladha. This ceremony was held today at the Foyer of YAB Menteri Besar's Office, Perak Darul Ridzuan Building. The ceremony was completed by YAB Dato Seri Haji Saarani Mohamed, representing the State Government to receive a donation of 396 sacrificial cattles worth RM2.89 million.

YB Tuan Mohd Azlan Helmi Bin Helmi, representing the Perak State Development Corporation (PKNPk), completed the handover and handed the donation 'mock cheque'. In addition to PKNPk, other GLCs that contributed include the Perak State Agricultural Development Corporation (Perak SADC), the Perak Water Board, the Perak State Government Secretaries Corporation, and the Menteri Besar Corporation.

Fifty-nine state constituencies will each receive five (5) cattles, for a total of 295 cattles, while another 101 cattles will be distributed to mosques, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

YAB Menteri Besar also reminded that the implementation of the ibadah korban must comply with other regulations issued by relevant authorities, such as the Perak State Department of Islamic Religion and the Department of Veterinary Services, to ensure the smoothness and orderliness of the program.
