PERAK TENGAH, 29th OCTOBER 2025 - PKNPk, together with Gamuda, conducted a visit to several intake point locations of the Lembaga Air Perak (LAP) Water Treatment Plant as part of a detailed study for the Raw Water Transfer Project from Sungai Perak to the Bukit Merah Dam.

This collaboration between Gamuda and PKNPk was appointed by the Perak State Government to develop and manage water supply infrastructure in the Kerian District. The project is a key component under the Northern Perak Water Supply Scheme (NPWSS), a strategic initiative to strengthen the state’s water supply system.

The initiative is expected to have a significant impact in addressing long-term water shortage issues, while also supporting agricultural irrigation needs, domestic use, and industrial development within the region.
