IPOH, 29th OCTOBER 2025 - PKNPk continues to strengthen its role as a catalyst for social and educational development in the state through a contribution of RM560,000 to support the Free Meal Assistance Programme under the Tuisyen Cikgu Saarani (TCS) initiative.

The mock cheque presentation was officiated by YBhg. Datuk Redza Rafiq Abdul Razak, Chief Executive of PKNPk, in conjunction with the Perak Statewide Yasin Recital and Special Prayer Ceremony for Public Examination Candidates 2025, held yesterday at Laman Seri Ridzuan.

The TCS programme aims to assist public examination candidates by providing free meals during extra classes. For 2025, the programme received a total allocation of RM3.96 million, benefiting 27,563 SPM, STPM and STAM candidates across the state, an increase from RM3.42 million in the previous year.

In addition to PKNPk, other state-linked companies also contributed, including the Lembaga Air Perak (LAP), Perak State Agricultural Development Corporation (SADC), Menteri Besar Incorporated (MB Inc.), and the State Secretary Incorporated (SSI).

This contribution by PKNPk is not merely financial assistance, but a manifestation of the corporation’s commitment to its corporate social responsibility, dedicated to developing quality human capital and ensuring the well-being of students throughout the State of Perak.
