KUALA LUMPUR, 27th MAY 2025 – Datuk Redza Rafiq, Chief Executive of PKNPk, participated in an engagement session with Guangzhou Industrial Investment Holding Group (GIIHG), China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and a delegation of leading Chinese companies during the 46th ASEAN Summit in Kuala Lumpur.

The session, led by the Honourable Deputy Prime Minister, aimed to strengthen strategic cooperation between ASEAN, China, and the GCC to attract high-quality investments to the region.

PKNPk seized the opportunity to promote Perak as a strategic investment destination through the development of industrial parks such as Lumut Maritime Industrial City (LuMIC) on the West Coast and Silver Valley Technology Park (SVTP) in Kinta, as well as other high-impact initiatives including the regional halal hub and strategic ports. Notable projects include AHTV in Tanjung Malim, KIGIP in Northern Perak, and Perak HIP in Manjung.

This meeting is hoped to catalyse inclusive and sustainable economic growth for the State of Perak.
