IPOH, 4th JUNE 2025 – The Perak State Government today marked a significant milestone with the launch of the Perak State Digital Economy Action Plan 2030 and the Perak Smart City Blueprint 2040, initiatives aimed at realising Perak’s transformation into an inclusive, sustainable and competitive smart state driven by the digital economy.

These strategic frameworks are designed to strengthen digital infrastructure, enhance human capital development, and stimulate innovation and technology-driven investments, paving the way for comprehensive and high-impact socio-economic growth across the state.

The launch was officiated by the Chief Minister of Perak, YAB Dato’ Seri Saarani bin Mohamad and attended by the State Ex-Officio, including the State Secretary of Perak, YB Dato’ Ahmad Suaidi bin Abdul Rahim; State Legal Advisor, YB Dato’ Azmir Shah bin Zainal Abidin; and State Financial Officer, YB Dato’ Mohd Zaki bin Mahyudin. Also present were State Executive Councillors, Chairman of the State Committee on Communications, Multimedia and NGOs, YB Encik Mohd Azlan Helmi bin Helmi, and Chairman of the State Committee on Housing and Local Government, YB Puan Sandrea Ng Shy Ching.
