LUMUT, 15th JUNE 2025 – The MADANI Rakyat 2025 programme in Perak concluded with a grand closing ceremony at Lumut Waterfront, reflecting the strong commitment of both the Federal and State Governments to enhance citizen welfare and accelerate strategic development across the state.

The ceremony was officiated by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who highlighted that the Malaysia MADANI approach is central to bridging socio-economic gaps and driving nation-building rooted in human-centric values.

The Chief Minister of Perak, YAB Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad, also delivered remarks, emphasising the importance of efficient connectivity and mobility as key enablers for industrial zones such as the Lumut Maritime Industrial City (LuMIC). He expressed hopes for continued Federal support in developing rail networks and road infrastructure linking key growth nodes within Perak.

The event was further graced by the presence of the Minister of Higher Education, Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir and PKNPk Chief Executive, YBhg. Datuk Redza Rafiq, who continue to play pivotal roles in supporting Perak’s development aspirations through high-impact investments and strategic public-private collaborations.
