PKNP FC Coaching Clinic At Teluk Intan

April 18, 2017 – A total of 191 students from 13 primary school in Hilir Perak district participated in PKNP FC Coaching Clinic at SK Sultan Abdul Aziz, Teluk Intan. The training session was organized by PKNP Group in conjunction with Perak Chief Minister’s Program Pemukiman in Hilir Perak District. The Hilir Perak District Education Office and SK Sultan Abdul Aziz Teluk Intan collaborated with PKNP Group in holding the session.

This training session is divided into two parts. First session was focused on basic training, skills and tactics in football, meanwhile in the afternoon session there were a competitions between groups. A total of four coaches and 21 players from PKNP FC were involved in this football clinic.

The closing ceremony for PKNP FC Coaching Clinic was officiated by Dato’ Mohammad Zahir Bin Abdul Khalid, Chairman of Perak State Committee on Industry, Investment and Development Corridor. In his speech he stressed that, sport is not only for co-curricular activities, but it has a wide field in profession, not only focusing on coaching but in the field of therapy, sports psychology and so on.

He added "The PKNP Group not only develops Perak in the context of housing, tourism, township development and so on. But currently PKNP Group is also actively in developing sport particularly football through PKNP FC. It is in line with the state government emphasis on excellence in sport to society and the State".

Encik Mohd Zulkhairi Bin Mansor, Senior Assistant (Co Curriculum) SK Sultan Abdul Aziz, Teluk Intan said “It is good to be able to train young talent in the early stages and indirectly also exposes the teachers to learn coaching techniques systematically”.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Amar Maaruf Bin Muhammad Suhaimi, 12 years from SK Raja Muda Musa, Teluk Intan a football fan since the age of 4, was of the opinion that the session gave himself an exposure in control and passing ball techniques and hoping that one day he can join the PKNP FC team.

Puan Nor Fadilah, mother of one of the participants said, "I accompany my son all day, I found different teaching techniques were taught in the from those that my son had attended before. This is useful and will benefit to my son to further enhance his performance and skills in football".

Also present were YB Dato' Mohd Azhar bin Jamaluddin, Changkat Jong State Assemblyman, Tuan Sayed Shariffuddin Bin Sayed Shamshuddin, Deputy Executive (Corporate Services) PKNP Group and Encik Jamaluddin Bin Mustafa, Headmaster SK Sultan Abdul Aziz, Teluk Intan.
