IPOH, 2nd June 2023 – A Collaboration Agreement Signing session between Perak Halal Corporation Sdn Bhd and Kotak Global Sdn Bhd (KGSB) for the Perak Sejahtera 2030 Student Program with support from Universiti Sultan Azlan Shah (USAS) and Yayasan Bina Upaya Darul Ridzuan was held today at Casuarina@Meru hotel.

This collaboration continues with the Mahasiswa Perak Sejahtera Program launched in October 2022 by YAB Menteri Besar in USAS. It is an effort to provide financial aid to students in the B40 group using e-Wallet. PKNPk, with the State Government under Perak Sejahtera 2030, created a platform under Rentan Program, helping the target group to improve their living standards and social well-being.

USAS will be a pilot project for this program, and this initiative will expand in all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Perak state. Perak Halal Corporation Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of PKNPk, is involved in this project and has opened the Bean Here! Coffee & Ice Cream Co. kiosk in the USAS. The PKNPk's coffee shop chain will expand to other HEIs; International Islamic University (UIA) and UiTM Puncak Alam. The initial infrastructure development work in the USAS schedule finished in early July 2023.

Chief Executive of the Perak State Development Corporation (PKNPk), Datuk Redza Rafiq bin Abdul Razak and Chief Executive of KGSB, Mrs. Fatima Chan Abdullah, represented both companies in the signing ceremony.
