IPOH, 2nd MAY 2024 – Menteri Besar of Perak Darul Ridzuan, YAB Dato' Seri Saarani bin Mohamad, has launched the Koridor Utiliti Darul Ridzuan Sdn Bhd (KUDR) this morning. Alongside State of Perak's aspirations to strengthen the socioeconomic benefits of the people, KUDR aims to increase the speed of installation of utility infrastructure and contribution to the state government. 

Also present was the Infrastructure, Energy, Water and Public Transport Committee Chairman, YB Dato' Seri Ir. Haji Mohamad Nizar bin Jamaluddin; Chairman of the State Housing and Local Government Committee, Honorable Madam Sandrea Ng; Chairman of the Perak State Tourism, Industry, Investment and Corridor Development Committee, the Honorable Tuan Loh Sze Yee; Chairman of the Communications, Multimedia and NGO Committee, Honorable Tuan Azlan Helmi bin Helmi; Chief Executive of Perak State Development Corporation (PKNPk), YBhg. Datuk Redza Rafiq Abdul Razak and Chief Executive Officer of KUDR YBrs. Mr. Adham Nasri bin Mohamad.

KUDR is a subsidiary of PKNPk which has a mandate to act as a state utility corridor coordinating agency and a one-stop agency for managing application procedures, development, maintenance, and relocation of utilities on existing roads (Brownfield) and new roads (Greenfield).

The Online KUDR system (KUDRAT) has also been introduced. With the slogan 'Transformasi Kolaborasi Koridor Utiliti’; KUDRAT is more than an ordinary online system and aim to change the governance landscape of Perak state utility infrastructure development. This reflects KUDR's sensitivity to the importance of collaboration and the need for technological advancement to solve the challenges faced by every affected party in the utility industry, including Government agencies.
