MBI AND KUDR FORM COLLABORATION ON DIGITALIZATION OF UTILITY INFRASTRUCTURE INSTALLATION IN IPOH CITY

IPOH, 13th JUNE 2024— Koridor Utiliti Darul Ridzuan (KUDR) and the Ipoh City Council (MBI) are taking proactive steps to develop a more sustainable and effective utility infrastructure and database. Through the signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), MBI mandates KUDR to ensure that all permit applications for installing utility infrastructure in its maintenance road reserve are coordinated through the KUDRAT application system beginning July 1, 2024.

 

The significance of the MOU ceremony was underscored by the presence of key officials. Representing MBI was Dato' Rumaizi Bin Baharin, Ipoh Mayor, while KUDR was represented by Datuk Redza Rafiq Abdul Razak, Executive Director of KUDR.

 

YB Dato' Seri Ir. Mohamad Nizar bin Jamaluddin, Chairman of the Perak State Infrastructure, Energy, Water, and Public Transport Committee, witnessed today's signing ceremony.
