IPOH, 26th JUNE 2024 – MDV’s Financing Clinic aims to introduce financing solutions through packages offered by MDV as an alternative to traditional financing, aligned with the government's focus on developing Perak's tech entrepreneurs through holistic support. The program also aims to ease the commercialization of innovative projects to generate better economic returns for businesses and the state.

The CEO of Digital Perak, Mr. Mohamad Suhaimi bin Mohamad Tahir, delivered a keynote address on behalf of the Perak State Executive Councillor for Communications, Multimedia and NGOs, Mr. Azlan Helmi bin Helmi. He stated, “MDV’s role as the nation’s technology financier, with its extensive knowledge and experience in supporting high-potential new technologies with innovative business models, is essential in providing better financing access for technology companies in Perak that seek to develop and expand their businesses.”

MDV, together with its strategic partners, the Perak State Development Corporation (PKNPk), Digital Perak Corporation Holdings (Digital Perak) and the Perak State Entrepreneur Secretariat (STeP), has collaborated on this program to support the ongoing development of industry players and technology-based companies based in Perak. This also contributes to the state government’s goal through the Perak Sejahtera 2030 agenda to accelerate digitalization and advanced technology, transforming Perak into a competitive digital hub in the country.

Also present were MDV’s Chief Business Officer, Mr. Marazizi Omar and STeP’s Deputy Director, Mr. Syed Omar Huzaimi Syed Ghaibi, along with invitees from various backgrounds of industry players and high-tech drivers in Perak.
