Also in line with the principles of Industrial Revolution 4.0 that many key digital based organisations around the world adopt, our robust digital infrastructure aims to realise the potential to achieve higher GDP performance, better the quality of human capital through employment creation, reduce the income gap of the citizens of Perak which will eventually reduce poverty and wealth disparity, maximising high potentials industries and its connectivity while minimising the ecological impact through smart digitalisation.
As the driving force behind our initiative, Digital Perak and Koridor Utiliti Darul Ridzuan (KUDR), in collaboration with various private and public organisations, undertake significant flagship projects. These projects include the commencement of the Ipoh Smart City Initiative, where we address urbanisation challenges faced by the people of Ipoh and realise Ipoh as a Green and Low-Carbon City by 2030 through the adoption of Smart Living, Smart Environment, Smart Governance, Smart People, Smart Digital Infrastructure, Smart Economy and Smart Mobility.
Perak's digital payment infrastructure is strengthened through Digital Perak's Clicks@Perak ecosystem, enabling secure and seamless cashless transactions for businesses and communities. Its advanced e-wallet app has already facilitated over RM1 million in transactions and is now being introduced across university and schools statewide to support the rollout of cashless initiatives.
Built with "super app" capabilities, it is undergoing phased enhancements to integrate a broader suite of services, including promotional alerts, news and tourism updates and targeted assistance delivery, positioning it a comprehensive digital touchpoint for the people of Perak.
In contrast, our latest meaningful platform, named KUDRAT, was created to aim for an integrated solution as a One Stop Agency (OSA) for more planned utility management throughout the state.
